Wanna know what's better than teaching circuits? How about autograded AND randomized circuit activities that remediate as you go!!
Students use observations to see patterns in parallel circuits and then apply the formula to new situations.
Students use observations from a PhET sim to learn about and apply the properties of resistors in series.
Students use a PhET sim to build a model for the relationship between the current through a circuit element and the voltage across it.
These activities are made possible thanks to our partner PhET Interactive Simulations using their PhET.iO. Bonus: They're all 100% autograded and randomized specifically to each student!
Ever wondered how regenerative braking actually works?
Students use the drivetrain of an EV as an example of energy transformation.
Bonus: It's 100% autograded!
Called “The Oscars” of the tech industry, the SIIA CODiE Awards have honored top companies, products, and people as leaders in innovation and excellence since 1986.
The CODiE Awards are the industry’s only peer-reviewed awards program. Educators and administrators serve as judges for the first-round review of all nominees. Finalists, selected by expert reviewers, represent the most innovative and impactful products from education technology developers, online learning services, and related learning-focused technologies.
We're honored to be considered again for this title, and we thank each of you for your support and contributions to our platform. Your feedback drives every part of what we do here at Pivot Interactives.

The way that I used to review for tests was not the best. I used to send the message to students that if you didn’t learn anything for two weeks, that I would bail you out the day before the test by sending answers out as much as possible.
When I do review now, I try to make sure that the work being done to prepare for the test is done by the students using the materials that they’ve accrued over the past two weeks of instruction.
Interested in having your students make their own reviews? Learn more about reviewing with Chemistry teacher Scott Milam as he shares how he reviews for assessments in his Modeling Chemistry class.
Reviewing is our way to do some last-minute teaching.
No matter the purpose of your review, Pivot Interactives can be a helpful partner in your review repertoire.
We've been working on this update for a while, and it's finally ready! 🙌
